Ferruccio Lamborghini was born into a family of grape farmers, but from the very beginning, he had a passion for mechanics. He had earlier served in the Air Force and afterward decided to start his own tractor business.
He earned a lot of money and bought himself several high-end sports cars since he’d always loved automobiles.
When it came to driving his Ferrari, he noticed that it was too noisy and rough on the road. Another issue with the car was that the interior clutch needed repairing very often. He also discovered that the clutch in his sports car was identical to the clutch in the tractors he built, so Lamborghini decided to meet Enzo Ferrari and tell him about the issues he was facing.
Ferrari was the top player in the car business and did not appreciate a young tractor mechanic giving him advice. Ferrari insulted him and brushed him off. This insult turned to be the driving force for Lamborghini to start his own sports car, and in just 4 months unveiled the Lamborghini 350 GTV.
